Boston Children's Hospital Neighborhood Partnerships (BCHNP) is a school-based behavioral health program within the Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences. Our work is grounded in prevention that is adaptable, culturally responsive, and evidence-informed. We partner with schools and districts to collaboratively create and sustain comprehensive behavioral health systems that promote the social, emotional, behavioral, and academic well-being of all students, families, staff, and school communities.
We are seeking a full-time clinical consultant to provide systems-level consultation, professional development, and capacity-building support to school districts. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for multiple districts, working in partnership with district leaders and school-based teams to strengthen infrastructure, enhance cross-sector collaboration, and build sustainable systems that promote student well-being and academic success.
You will be the driving force behind implementing and evaluating our school behavioral health consultation model. Your day-to-day involves providing ongoing on-site and virtual support to school leaders, co-designing professional development frameworks that promote shared learning and continuous improvement, and cultivating strong partnership relationships with key collaborators. This role requires a strategic communicator who can navigate complex school environments to advance multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Interested candidates should submit their application through the Boston Children's Hospital careers portal. The process typically includes a review of qualifications, followed by interviews with the hiring team to assess clinical expertise and cultural fit.
BCHNP strongly encourages BIPOC applicants and candidates with multi-language capacity to apply. We are committed to equity and social justice in all aspects of our work, ensuring our training content and systems reflect the diverse communities we serve.
New hires are eligible for a $5,000 sign-on bonus. Base pay is determined by skills, experience, education, and certifications. This role is part of a comprehensive benefits package that includes flexible schedules, affordable health, vision, and dental insurance, child care and student loan subsidies, generous time off, a 403(b) Retirement Savings plan, Pension, tuition and certain license/certification reimbursement, cell phone plan discounts, and discounted rates on T-passes.
