About the Role
We are seeking a Mental Health Therapist to join our award-winning Special Education team in a dynamic environment serving Grades K-12. This role is vital for supporting students' academic, social, and emotional success. You will work within a student-centered, collaborative, and data-informed setting, partnering with educators, families, and community partners to create a safe, supportive learning environment that strengthens connections between home and school.
In this position, you will provide individual and group counseling to address interpersonal, social, emotional, or family challenges impacting school performance. Your day-to-day involves conducting comprehensive assessments, developing and updating Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and Positive Behavior Intervention Plans (PBIPs), and facilitating IEP team meetings. You will also engage in case management, coordinate support services, and model best practices for student engagement and problem-solving. We are looking for someone who brings resilience, empathy, and a solutions-focused mindset to help students overcome challenges and unlock their full potential.
