About Year Up United
Year Up United is an intensive, one-year or less job training program designed to empower young adults with the skills and support needed to launch successful careers. The program combines in-classroom skill development with access to internships and personalized coaching and mentorship.
Participants receive technical and professional training alongside job placement support through YUPRO Placement, our industry-leading talent placement firm. Internships are available with leading organizations in the Austin area, including Amazon, Dell Technologies, Merck, and The University of Texas System.
What You Will Gain
This program is designed to provide the skills and opportunities necessary to launch a professional career. Students develop professional business and communication skills, interviewing and networking abilities, and resume building expertise, all supported by ongoing guidance.
The curriculum includes in-depth classes in IT Support, Application Development, and Project Management. During the internship phase, students earn an educational stipend of $525 per week.

Year Up United is committed to measurable success. 72% of graduates are employed or enrolled in postsecondary education within four months of graduation. Employed graduates earn an average starting salary of $53,000 per year.
Eligibility and Application
To apply, candidates must be high school graduates or GED recipients, eligible to work in the U.S., and available Monday through Friday for the duration of the program. Applicants should be highly motivated to learn technical and professional skills and must not have obtained a Bachelor's degree. Additional screening questions may be required during the application process.
