IT Job Training Program

About Year Up United

Year Up United is an intensive, one-year or less job training program designed to empower young adults with the skills and support needed to launch successful careers. The program combines in-classroom skill development with access to internships and personalized coaching and mentorship.

Participants receive technical and professional training alongside job placement support through YUPRO Placement, our industry-leading talent placement firm. Internship opportunities may be secured at leading organizations in the Austin area, including Amazon, Dell Technologies, Merck, and The University of Texas System.

What You Will Gain

The program focuses on equipping students with professional business and communication skills, interviewing and networking techniques, and resume building strategies. Throughout the internship phase, students earn an educational stipend of $525 per week.

In-depth classes cover key areas such as IT Support, Application Development, and Project Management. The goal is to provide the skills and opportunities necessary to launch a professional career. The impact of the program is significant: 72% of graduates are employed and/or enrolled in postsecondary education within four months of graduation, with employed graduates earning an average starting salary of $53,000 per year.
