Within STAR7, the Academy team specializes in providing language training for families relocating to new countries, working closely with corporate clients and relocation agencies to ensure smooth transitions.
We are recruiting a Freelance English Language Instructor to deliver in-person lessons to an adult student in Lake Forest, Illinois. This role focuses on helping the student master American English through a personalized, one-to-one approach.
You will design and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the student's specific level, goals, and learning style. The primary objective is to improve the student's fluency, pronunciation, vocabulary, and grammar while building their confidence in speaking and understanding American English. The schedule is set for two days per week (ideally Monday and Wednesday mornings) for 90-minute sessions, with a contract length of up to 48 hours starting as soon as possible.
This assignment offers the potential for future opportunities, including supporting additional students in virtual or in-person settings. Success in this role requires a student-centered approach, patience, and the flexibility to adapt teaching methods and pace based on the student's evolving needs.
