We are seeking an Engineering Technician to support our RECO/DTRA contract within the Science and Space division. In this role, you will provide essential test support for environmental testing on CBRNE (Chemical, Biological, Nuclear, Radiological, and Explosives) experiments. Your work will take you to various US testing grounds, including Kirtland AFB, White Sands Missile Range (WSM), and Dugway Proving Ground.
You will operate under general supervision to perform non-routine assignments of substantial variety and complexity. This position involves selecting, adapting, and modifying critical test equipment and procedures to conduct experiments. You will set up and operate equipment, record data, and measure problems of significant complexity that may require resolution at a higher level. Additionally, you will analyze data, construct experimental or prototype models to meet engineering requirements, and prepare detailed test reports. This role requires frequent collaboration with engineers and professionals to ensure technical adequacy and the successful execution of research and development projects.

High degree of knowledge concerning electronics and electronic systems for data acquisition. Experience in high explosive test support. Experience regarding Chemical, Biological, Nuclear, Radiological and Explosives (CBRNE) research, testing, and technology. Knowledge in one or more areas including electronics, transducers, timing and firing systems, data acquisition systems, computer networking, wireless transmission systems, optical systems, or seismic instrumentation. AS degree in Engineering Technology, certificate in electronics, or related field.
