About the Role
The Newbury Boston, a historic luxury hotel located on iconic Newbury Street, is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead facilities, maintenance, and asset management operations. This pivotal role oversees HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and life-safety systems to ensure a safe, elegant, and impeccably maintained environment that directly enhances the guest experience.
As the leader of a hands-on team, you will manage preventive maintenance and capital projects, partner with external vendors, and safeguard this landmark property. Success in this position requires strong technical expertise, proven leadership within a 24/7 luxury hospitality setting, and a meticulous attention to detail in every aspect of building care. You will partner with Operations and Guest Services to minimize downtime and ensure that the hotel's historic charm is preserved while meeting modern operational standards.
