We are seeking a highly skilled Mobile HVAC/Refrigeration Engineer to support multiple facilities in Jackson, MI. This hands-on role is designed for a technical expert who takes pride in maximizing equipment performance, minimizing downtime, and ensuring safe, energy-efficient operations. You will serve as the primary point of contact for operating, maintaining, and repairing critical building systems, including HVAC, rack refrigeration, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and production equipment.
As a Mobile HVAC/R Technician, your work extends beyond standard repairs. You will focus heavily on troubleshooting and repairing complex HVAC/R and rack refrigeration systems while applying multi-trade knowledge to complete daily and weekly assignments. Your day involves performing preventive maintenance, responding to repair work orders, and conducting facility inspections to anticipate necessary repairs and extend equipment life.
You will also handle interior and exterior property repairs, including walls, flooring, roofing systems, lighting, and grounds. A significant part of your role involves detailed recordkeeping; you will utilize CMMS systems like Corrigo to document and track all work performed in real time, submit receipts, and maintain a working knowledge of all assigned equipment.
