As a Transformation Leader for Heavy Duty New Unit (HDNU) Controls Engineering, you will serve as a pivotal force in driving transformation and operational excellence across our global Controls Engineering organization. This role exists to define and execute a strategic roadmap for modernizing combined cycle controls development and project execution, ensuring that technology upgrades align seamlessly with business goals to create scalable, secure, and compliant platforms.
In this position, you will lead the development of lean operational structures and performance metrics to optimize team output, control costs, and enhance reliability. You will act as a change agent, championing a culture of continuous improvement through Lean principles and servant leadership. By coordinating Kaizen events and fostering a unified, data-driven engineering culture, you will empower a global team of over 240 engineers to identify and act on process improvement opportunities.
Your day-to-day involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams—including engineering, IT, cybersecurity, and operations—as well as Controlled Title Holders and Lean Coaches. You will bridge the gap between technical execution and business outcomes, mentoring functional teams and embedding daily management practices to support broader Controls and Gas Power Engineering initiatives.
