The Engineering Business Operations Quality and Lean Leader serves as the strategic bridge between Gas Power Engineering and the Steam Power Services Business Line. This role exists to ensure that engineering execution, operational priorities, and improvement initiatives are fully aligned to deliver performance across Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC). By partnering closely with Business Line leadership and embedded Lean and Quality organizations, the leader removes barriers and accelerates execution across the value stream.
This position operates at the unique intersection of Engineering, Business Line leadership, and enterprise initiatives. The leader drives the deployment of GE Vernova’s Lean Operating Method—including MOR alignment, Hoshin Kanri, Daily Management, and Kaizen—while strengthening operational rigor and performance transparency. A key focus is supporting the Steam Power upgrade value stream by integrating operational priorities and problem-solving to ensure successful delivery.
The role offers broad exposure to value stream strategy and cross-functional leadership, enabling direct impact on GE Vernova’s global energy portfolio. It is designed for a high-performing leader who can influence complex organizations to translate operational challenges into actionable improvement plans.

Strong analytical and problem-solving capability with experience applying Lean principles and operational management systems, including Daily Management, value stream improvement, and structured problem solving. Proven ability to lead cross functional initiatives and influence leaders across Engineering, Operations, and Business Line organizations. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to align multiple organizations and operate effectively in high visibility, enterprise level initiatives. Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in matrixed, cross functional environments requiring influence without direct authority. Strong enterprise mindset with the ability to connect operational improvements to broader business outcomes. Ability to simplify complex challenges and drive structured execution across multiple organizations. High degree of ownership and accountability with a strong bias toward action and results.
