As a Preventative Maintenance Engineer, you will be the hero who keeps the hotel running smoothly. This role is designed to ensure peak performance across all facilities, from carpentry and plumbing to HVAC systems and pool maintenance. You will tackle repairs, respond to work orders, and collaborate with the team to maintain equipment such as ice machines, refrigerators, laundry gear, and kitchen gadgets.
Your day-to-day involves a diverse range of tasks, including swapping bulbs, patching vinyl, touching up paint, and repairing furniture and tiles. You will act as a safety hero by responding quickly to alarms, investigating causes, and reporting findings to the Front Desk. Additionally, you will interact with guests and colleagues with professionalism and may occasionally drive the shuttle van to support hotel operations.
