About the Role

Based at The Miami Beach EDITION, this position serves as a critical pillar in maintaining the property's operational excellence and guest experience. You will be responsible for responding to and attending to guest repair requests, resolving maintenance issues with minimal supervision while communicating effectively with guests. Your day will involve performing preventive maintenance on tools and equipment, visually inspecting machinery, and managing maintenance inventory.

You will act as a troubleshooter for complex Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems, including air conditioning, refrigeration, pool heaters, and electrical fixtures. This role requires advanced proficiency in reading blueprints and electrical schematics to safely perform highly complex repairs that meet company standards and local codes. Beyond technical execution, you will be expected to train and mentor other engineers, perform Engineer on Duty responsibilities, and ensure all activities are seamlessly communicated across shifts.
