This position supports the development of medical device products by bridging the gap between concept and production. You will be responsible for writing and verifying specifications, designing new products and fixtures, and testing processes and equipment to ensure prototypes meet rigorous requirements. The role involves specifying raw materials and generating intellectual property through invention disclosures.
As a largely self-directed engineer, you will work with moderate supervision to meet project goals while supervising assemblers, technicians, and specialists. Success in this role requires a strong commitment to compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and Quality Management System processes, demonstrating ethics and integrity at all levels of the organization.
Applicants should note that some travel is required for this position. Additional duties may be assigned as needed to support team objectives.

Knowledge of standard machine shop equipment, processes, and medical device manufacturing equipment. Knowledge of medical device and technical development. Working knowledge of materials used in the medical device industry. Experience from Engineering internship or rotation program. One (1) year of Manufacturing experience.
