Based at Homewood Suites Chandler, the Engineer, Level 1 plays a vital role in ensuring the property is maintained in the best possible condition at all times. This position exists to minimize inconvenience to our guests and employees while upholding the highest standards of operational excellence.
In this role, you will be the first line of defense for the hotel's physical infrastructure. Your day-to-day involves a dynamic mix of preventive maintenance and responsive repairs across HVAC systems, electrical components, plumbing, and kitchen equipment. You will troubleshoot complex issues, from cooling tower performance to electronic lock systems, ensuring everything runs smoothly. Beyond technical repairs, you will manage records, adhere to local and federal codes, and contribute to the aesthetic upkeep of the property through painting and finish work.
Success in this role requires more than technical skill; it demands a service-oriented mindset. You will interact with guests and team members daily, approaching every encounter with attentiveness, courtesy, and a focus on resolving concerns effectively. You will be expected to anticipate operational needs, cross-train in various hotel areas, and maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information.
