About the Opportunity
Direct Counsel represents a prestigious AmLaw firm seeking a Transactional Associate to join its Energy & Infrastructure team in Houston, Texas. This role is designed for an attorney with strong transactional experience who is passionate about sophisticated energy, infrastructure, and project finance matters.
The Role
You will partner with clients, partners, and cross-functional legal teams to drive complex commercial and energy transactions. Your day-to-day will involve drafting and negotiating transactional documents, coordinating deal execution, and supporting financing and commodities-related matters. This position offers the chance to work directly on power purchase agreements, commodities trading, and structured deals within the power, renewables, natural gas, or upstream oil & gas sectors.
