Under the direction of the department leader, the Endoscopy Technician ensures the quality, maintenance, and sterilization of endoscopic equipment and supplies. This role is vital to maintaining the highest quality of care for Parkview Health patients by managing inventory, stocking supplies, and assisting with procedure room setup and turnover.
The technician plays an active role in patient care, assisting RNs, physicians, and staff with endoscopic procedures and patient transportation. The position also involves performing Quality Improvement and Infection Control functions, with a focus on recommending process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and safety.

Two years experience in healthcare, medical or hospital setting, preferably in an area handling equipment, e.g., Central Service, X-ray, Nursing, EMT, or Nursing Assistant.
