Welcome to Georgia Veterinary Emergency and Triage Services (GVETS) in Watkinsville, Georgia. We are a new Emergency and Critical Care hospital that opened just four months ago and is already growing rapidly. This is a unique opportunity to join a team from the ground up, helping to shape our culture and build a supportive family environment. We are looking for friendly, passionate team members who want to grow with us while creating a fun, energetic workplace where every shift brings new challenges and opportunities to learn.

Your day will be fast-paced and varied, ensuring you never have a dull moment. You will greet clients with warmth and professionalism, both in person and over the phone, while helping to triage emergency calls and walk-in cases. A significant part of your role involves sharing critical information quickly with the medical team, explaining hospital policies and financial options with empathy, and maintaining accurate medical records. You will also process invoices, maintain a clean and organized lobby, and support hospital safety and infection control protocols. Whether you are offering reassurance to a worried owner or collaborating with a tight-knit team of veterinarians, you will be making a meaningful difference every shift.
This is a Part-Time position requiring availability for evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays. To be considered, applicants must have full availability for the following hours:
Note: Shifts will vary, and while you are not required to work every single listed hour, you must have the full availability to cover these times.
If you are passionate about emergency medicine and want to make a difference while being part of an amazing team with room to grow, we'd love to hear from you. Please apply by sending your resume and a brief cover letter.
At GVETS, we pride ourselves on a fun, energetic, and supportive work environment. We offer plenty of room to grow and advance your career as the hospital expands, along with training and learning opportunities in the veterinary field. We believe in meaningful, rewarding work when it matters most, and we are committed to building a culture where you can learn, stay challenged, and truly make a difference.
