The Emergency Response Officer (ERO) serves as a critical first responder on-site, bridging the gap between standard security duties and advanced emergency management. This role exists to ensure the safety of people and assets during critical incidents, ranging from fires and medical emergencies to hazardous material spills and structural failures.
In this position, you will be the first on the scene to assess the situation, relay vital information to dispatch, and execute immediate rescue or containment procedures. Your day involves a dynamic mix of high-stakes emergency response and routine security patrols. You will perform fire suppression using specialized apparatus, conduct vehicle and machinery extrications, and manage medical triage and patient stabilization. Beyond emergency scenarios, you will maintain site security by patrolling buildings and parking lots, managing access, and ensuring all irregularities are reported. This role requires a professional who can seamlessly transition from standard guarding duties to leading complex rescue operations.
