The Registered Nurse serves as a professional nurse registered in Massachusetts, responsible for planning and providing patient care for assigned patients in accordance with Nursing Standards of Care. This role is designed for those who demonstrate initiative, knowledge, and clinical skills in caring for patients with complex needs. The Registered Nurse assumes full responsibility for the assessment, plan, implementation, and evaluation of patient care, directly reporting to a designated nurse manager or supervisor.
In this capacity, you will manage patients with varying acuity, setting priorities to ensure continuity of care through clear and concise communication. You will collaborate with patients, families, and colleagues in a professional manner, acting as a role model for the A.N.A. code of ethics. The position requires the ability to function effectively under stress while maintaining a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors. You will also contribute to the organization's mission by utilizing nursing research findings in clinical practice and supporting medical research endeavors.
