US Acute Care Solutions (USACS) is the largest physician-owned group in the nation. Our model is built on a simple premise: you got into medicine to care for patients, and we exist to make that possible. As a physician-owned organization, we offer a unique culture of shared ownership, where clinicians are leaders of their own destiny. We combine the resources and stability of a national company with a commitment to evidence-based medicine and constant improvement.
At USACS, you are supported by a National Clinical Governance Board of internally elected physicians, 24/7/365 bedside support from experienced colleagues, and dedicated Clinician Advocates providing personalized concierge-style service. We are dedicated to a culture where outstanding patient care is the common goal.
You will join the Emergency Department team at St. Luke's Baptist Hospital in San Antonio, Texas, a facility that has provided quality, compassionate care to the community since 1978. Ranked as a U.S. News and World Report Best Hospital, the site offers onsite emergent PCI and neurosurgery services, along with excellent specialty coverage across the five-hospital Baptist Health System.
The role involves managing a Level IV Trauma center with an accredited Chest Pain Center and designated Brain/Stroke Center. The department sees approximately 14,000 patients annually with a volume of 1.8 patients per hour. You will work 12-hour shifts, with the flexibility to transition to 8-hour shifts or add Advanced Practice Provider (APP) support based on volume needs. A simple "one call" system streamlines admissions and transfers.
As part of the Baptist Health System rotation, you will practice across multiple locations, including Baptist Medical Center, Mission Trail Baptist Hospital, North Central Baptist Hospital, Northeast Baptist Hospital, St. Luke's Baptist Hospital, Resolute Baptist Hospital, and the Baptist Regional Children's Center. This structure offers career stability and location flexibility, with opportunities for national travel within the USACS network.
