About the Role

The Assistant Nurse Manager plays a key leadership role within the hospital, overseeing daily clinical and operational functions. This position demands a dynamic leader capable of managing both clinical excellence and operational performance while keeping patient care as the top priority. You will partner with the Nurse Manager and the triad leadership team to develop, implement, and evaluate systems that promote high-quality, cost-effective, and safe care.

In this role, you will lead staff, drive clinical practice development, and manage patient care delivery. You will be accountable for team performance, quality, safety, compliance, financials, throughput, workflow, and scheduling. Your day-to-day involves fostering a culture of collaboration and mutual respect, providing education and coaching to staff, and advocating for the optimal allocation of resources to support patient care. You will also lead continuous quality improvement efforts through data analysis and problem-solving to address operational challenges.

Requirements
