Penske Logistics engineers state-of-the-art transportation, warehousing, and freight management solutions that deliver powerful business results for market-leading companies. With operations spanning North America, South America, Europe, and Asia, Penske helps businesses move forward by increasing visibility and driving down supply-chain costs. The Elite Driver team is a select group of professionals committed to delivering products safely and on time, representing not just Penske, but also the world's leading brands we haul freight for.
This isn't a typical CDL-A role; it is designed for experienced, reliable drivers who want variety, flexibility, and the chance to make a tangible impact. As part of the Elite Driver team, you will travel to support critical operations, help launch new business, and step in where strong drivers are needed most. You are not assigned to just one route—you are part of a national response team deployed to Penske locations across the country to support special projects, stabilize performance, and assist with new account startups.
In this role, you will represent Penske as a trusted, elite professional driver, performing multi-stop deliveries in a variety of environments. Assignments can range from high-touch to no-touch, with training provided for specialized equipment. You will drive well-maintained vehicles equipped with best-in-class specs for comfort and safety, including inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras. Every Friday, you will be paid for your work, ensuring consistent, premium compensation for flexible, high-impact labor.
Drivers choose this opportunity for the unique blend of stability and adventure. You will be part of a high-performing team where no two assignments are the same, offering the chance to travel and support different locations while making a real impact across the business. The role offers true flexibility: assignments are at least three weeks, with the option to extend and continue traveling as long as it works for you. For every three travel weeks worked, drivers are provided an option for a full week off or a home week.
Qualified candidates must hold a current CDL-A, be domiciled in the U.S., and possess a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card. The selection process includes completing the Penske employment application, submitting to a background investigation (covering past employment, education, and criminal history), and undergoing a drug screening. Candidates must demonstrate English language proficiency to comply with federal law and show a clean driving record with no more than two moving violations in the last three years.
Penske is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We consider qualified applicants regardless of background, committed to building a diverse and inclusive workforce.
