Penske Logistics engineers state-of-the-art transportation, warehousing, and freight management solutions that deliver powerful business results for market-leading companies. With operations spanning North America, South America, Europe, and Asia, Penske helps businesses move forward by increasing visibility and driving down supply-chain costs. As part of the Elite Driver team, you will join a select group of professional truck drivers committed to delivering products safely and on time, representing not just Penske, but also the world's leading brands we haul freight for.
This is not a typical CDL-A role. The Elite Truck Driver position is designed for experienced, reliable drivers who want variety, flexibility, and the chance to make a tangible impact. As a member of Penske's Elite Driver team, you will travel to support critical operations, help launch new business, and step in where strong drivers are needed most.
You are not assigned to just one route; you are part of a national response team deployed to Penske locations across the country. Your assignments will vary, ranging from high-touch to no-touch multi-stop deliveries in a variety of environments. You will represent Penske as a trusted, elite professional, assisting with special projects, stabilizing performance, and supporting new account startups. For every three travel weeks worked, you have the option to take a home week or extend your travel, offering true flexibility in your earning potential and schedule.
Drivers choose this role for the opportunity to stand out in a high-performing team. You will enjoy strong, consistent weekly pay, the variety of never having two assignments be the same, and the chance to travel and support different locations. The role offers the chance to move your career to a new city while working with a stable, nationwide company known for best-in-class equipment, great management, clear communication, and a fantastic safety record.
Qualified candidates must hold a current CDL-A and be domiciled in the U.S. The application process includes completing the Penske employment application, submitting to a background investigation (covering past employment, education, and criminal history), and undergoing a drug screening. This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation and designated as safety-sensitive; therefore, the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required.
Penske is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We consider qualified applicants regardless of background.
