Penske Logistics engineers state-of-the-art transportation, warehousing, and freight management solutions that deliver powerful business results for market-leading companies. With operations spanning North America, South America, Europe, and Asia, Penske helps businesses move forward by increasing visibility and driving down supply-chain costs. The Elite Driver team is a select group of professionals committed to delivering products safely and on time, representing not just Penske, but also the world's leading brands we haul for.
This isn't a typical CDL-A role. It is designed for experienced, reliable drivers who want variety, flexibility, and the chance to make a tangible impact. As part of the Elite Driver team, you will travel to support critical operations, help launch new business, and step in where strong drivers are needed most. You are not assigned to just one route; instead, you are part of a national response team deployed to Penske locations across the country.
Your day-to-day involves performing multi-stop deliveries in a variety of environments, ranging from high-touch to no-touch operations. You will represent Penske as a trusted, elite professional, often driving branded trucks and wearing client uniforms. The role utilizes scanners and onboard technology to ensure accurate deliveries and features well-maintained vehicles equipped with best-in-class specs, including inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras for safety and protection.
Drivers choose this role for the opportunity to be part of a high-performing team where no two assignments are the same. It offers true flexibility, with assignments lasting at least three weeks and the option to extend or continue traveling as long as it works for you. For every three travel weeks worked, drivers are provided an option for a full week off or a home week. The role provides consistent, premium pay for flexible, high-impact work, along with the chance to move to a new city and access tons of training opportunities.
Qualified candidates must hold a current CDL-A, be domiciled in the U.S., and possess a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card. The application process includes completing the Penske employment application, submitting to a background investigation (covering past employment, education, and criminal history), and undergoing a drug screening. Candidates must demonstrate English language proficiency to comply with federal law and be able to work in a constant state of alertness in a safe manner.
Penske is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We consider qualified applicants regardless of background.
