About the Role
We are seeking elementary teachers who love spending time with children, possess kind hearts, and desire to cultivate wisdom. In this 10-month position, you will implement a classical Christian curriculum that fosters a love for ancient wisdom, instills virtue, connects Christ to every subject, and develops world-class rhetorical skills.\n You will work closely with your team to create a vibrant classical Christian school culture. As an elementary education professional, your mission is to help shape the next generation of leaders while partnering with parents and administration to support each student's unique intellectual and instructional needs.

Candidates must provide evidence of a strong Christian faith and values, including attestation of the School's Statement of Faith and Staff Leadership Covenant. All applicants are required to pass a Level 2 background check through the Clearinghouse (info.flclearinghouse.com).

Key Responsibilities

- check_circleEvaluate student progress and prepare report cards for parents and administration
- check_circleMaintain a clean, safe, and nurturing classroom environment
- check_circleEstablish and maintain standards for acceptable student behavior
- check_circleCooperate in school-wide supervision of students during out-of-school activities
- check_circleWrite lesson plans and newsletters aligned with principal goals and pacing guides
- check_circleParticipate in school meetings, trainings, orientations, and complete in-service hours
- check_circleCommunicate with parents and administration regarding individual student progress
- check_circleMaintain parent boards, bulletin boards, and appropriate student records
Requirements
