The Operations Associate is a bargaining-represented position within our manufacturing environment, serving as a critical link between engineering design and physical product realization. In this role, you will interpret complex test procedures, electronic schematics, and mechanical assembly drawings to perform rigorous testing and assembly of circuit card assemblies, modules, cables, and integrated systems. Your work ensures product performance integrity by troubleshooting digital, analog, and RF electronics down to the component level, while simultaneously executing precise mechanical and electrical assembly with minimal supervision.
Your day involves a blend of hands-on technical work and collaborative problem-solving. You will utilize specialized test equipment—including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and spectrum analyzers—to validate electronic circuits and identify defects such as solder bridges or missing components. Beyond testing, you will assemble complex mechanical systems, adhering strictly to IPC-610, IPC-620, and J-Standard 001 guidelines. A significant portion of your time is dedicated to recording production data into SAP and collaborating with engineering and production teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance product quality and reduce costs. Maintaining a safe, ESD-protected workspace and demonstrating high manual dexterity are essential daily requirements.
Due to the nature of this position, candidates must be U.S. citizens and able to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance. Applicants who accept a conditional offer will be subject to government security investigations.
