The Effector Digital Products department is dedicated to generating and utilizing cutting-edge technology to design digital electronics circuits for missile guidance, video, and digital signal processing. Our technology base spans high-speed digital electronics, configurable logic, and homogeneous and heterogeneous multiprocessor designs. We are seeking engineers who are willing to collaborate, innovate, and work closely with our team to advance these critical capabilities.
As a Digital Design Engineer, you will join a collaborative team environment to design, analyze, simulate, test, and integrate digital electronic modules and circuit card assemblies (CCAs) for missile applications. This role involves taking design concepts from the block diagram or requirements level through to the development of complete hardware designs and verification via test and integration.
You will work on complex circuit card assemblies ranging from 16 to 32 layers, utilizing industry interfaces such as PCIe, Ethernet, I2C, SPI, and UART. The position requires managing technical and schedule risks, identifying cost reduction opportunities, and leading program transitions from development to production. You will function within multi-disciplined design teams across multiple projects, ensuring milestones are met while balancing resources and costs.
Candidates must possess a US security clearance prior to the start date; consequently, U.S. citizenship is required. The role is based in Tucson, AZ.
We are an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion. We consider qualified applicants regardless of background, including protected veterans and individuals with disabilities.
