About the Role
We are hiring for an Electro-Mechanical Inspector Level 2 position in Phoenix, AZ. This is a 1-year contract opportunity supporting the first shift, scheduled for 2-3 days per week. If you have a passion for mechanical products and a keen eye for quality, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
In this role, you will serve as a critical link in our quality assurance chain, ensuring that products meet rigorous standards before reaching our clients. You will be responsible for incoming inspections, verifying process certifications, and conducting in-process and final inspections of critical features. Your work will involve validating that inspection equipment is capable of detecting defects and that methodologies align with drawing intent. You will ensure products are free of gaps, mismatches, and waviness, while verifying workmanship standards, finishes, and hardware cleanliness. Additionally, you will verify safety wire applications and fastener installations to ensure full compliance with specifications.
Training & Logistics
Candidates must be available to travel to California for a one-week training program. All travel and accommodation expenses for this training will be covered by the company. The position includes mileage reimbursement at the US government rate ($0.70 per mile driven) and 50% of the hourly rate for travel time.
