We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Mechanical Inspector Level 2 to join our team in Seattle, WA. This critical role is designed for an experienced professional with a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of quality assurance practices. You will serve as a vital link in our supply chain, representing our clients with local knowledge and broad industry expertise.
This position operates on-site for one day per week, eight hours a day, as a one-year contract. You will be responsible for conducting visual, physical, and dimensional inspections of parts, verifying hardware cleanliness, and ensuring products meet strict standards for workmanship, contour, and waviness. Your expertise in interpreting complex GD&T requirements and validating complex assemblies will be essential to maintaining the high quality of our clients' machined parts.
This role requires access to ITAR-controlled technical data and/or defense articles. Consequently, candidates must be U.S. citizens or U.S. lawful permanent residents (green card holders) to comply with International Traffic in Arms Regulations. Applicants who do not meet these criteria will not be considered. All selected candidates must be willing to undergo a background check.
