As a Manufacturing Engineering Manager within the Operations division, you will lead the daily operations of a team comprising manufacturing engineers, application engineers, and CNC machinists. This role exists to drive the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes, ensuring product functionality, quality, and cost efficiency.
You will partner closely with Design Engineering, Research and Development, Quality Assurance, and Maintenance personnel to support new product introductions and current production needs. From initial quotes and tool vendor selection to the validation of production processes, you will direct the manufacturing engineering group in optimizing production support, cost reduction, and lean manufacturing improvements. A key part of your day involves mentoring team members, fostering career growth, and driving initiatives to improve equipment Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and process safety.
