About the Role

As a Data Center Electrical Engineer – Operational Subject Matter Expert (SME), you will oversee and optimize the performance, reliability, and efficiency of our data center electrical infrastructure. This role is critical to ensuring the continuous and optimal operation of our high-performance facilities.

You will serve as the primary technical authority for all electrical systems, including power distribution units (PDUs), uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), switchgear, and generators. Your day-to-day involves providing technical leadership in troubleshooting complex electrical failures, optimizing system performance, and mitigating risks. You will collaborate with design, construction, and operations teams to enhance electrical system resiliency and scalability, while also working closely with vendors and contractors to evaluate new technologies and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Beyond technical execution, you will drive improvements in system efficiency by analyzing electrical data to identify trends and inefficiencies. You will also play a key role in mentoring operations personnel, conducting root cause analysis for power-related incidents, and developing corrective action plans to prevent future occurrences.
