About the Role
As a Data Center Electrical Engineer – Operational Subject Matter Expert (SME), you will oversee and optimize the performance, reliability, and efficiency of our data center electrical infrastructure in Fargo, ND. This role is critical to ensuring the continuous and optimal operation of our high-performance facilities.
You will serve as the primary technical authority for all electrical systems, including power distribution units (PDUs), uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), switchgear, and generators. Your day-to-day involves providing technical leadership in troubleshooting complex electrical failures, optimizing system performance, and mitigating risks. You will collaborate closely with design, construction, and operations teams to enhance electrical system resiliency and scalability, while also working with vendors and contractors to evaluate new technologies and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Beyond technical execution, you will drive operational excellence by developing maintenance strategies, conducting root cause analysis for power-related incidents, and providing mentorship to operations personnel on electrical system best practices.
