Key Responsibilities
- check_circleOversee operation and management of routine and emergency services on critical systems
- check_circlePerform root cause analysis of equipment failures and troubleshoot facility issues
- check_circleProvide training and guidance to Engineering Operations Technicians
- check_circleCreate and deploy new standard practices for operations and vendor support teams
- check_circleAssist in building out new facilities and projects to increase facility efficiency
- check_circleEstablish building performance benchmarks and prepare reports on facility operations
- check_circleCoordinate projects with IT managers to optimize plant safety and performance
- check_circleEnsure all safety procedures are adhered to by vendor and Amazon staff
Requirements
- verified3+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience
- verified3+ years of mission critical facilities experience including industrial electrical and mechanical systems
- verifiedExperience with reading and writing procedures, technical documents, and engineering drawings
- verifiedData center engineering operation experience
- verifiedExperience in construction or project management
- verifiedExperience leading technical teams through daily operations and maintenance
- verifiedAbility to travel to or commute between data center locations as required
- verifiedMust be able to work in an environment that involves walking, stooping, bending, and climbing
- verifiedMust be able to work in an environment that involves walking, stooping, bending, and climbing to access equipment
Nice to Have
Data center engineering operation experience, experience in construction or project management, experience leading technical teams through daily operations and maintenance evolutions.
