Electrical Pre-Commissioning Supervisor (100% Travel)

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive, hands-on Electrical Pre-Commissioning Supervisor to bring material handling systems to life across North America. This role is designed for a highly motivated individual who thrives in a dynamic, on-site environment, collaborating directly with electrical installers and controls engineers to implement and validate cutting-edge solutions.

You will be the crucial link in ensuring the smooth operation of our systems, contributing directly to customer success. Your day-to-day involves interpreting prints, building action lists, and maintaining progress reports while performing hands-on testing, troubleshooting, and validation of PLC programs, communication networks, and field devices. This position requires a unique blend of technical expertise and physical stamina, as you will be comfortable working in varying climates and performing physical tasks such as walking, crawling, and climbing for extended periods.

As a 100% travel role, you will have the opportunity to work on-site throughout the U.S., implementing simple to highly sophisticated material handling systems at diverse customer locations. You will be responsible for loading emulated PLC programs, completing static functional testing, and validating I/O and device-level operations. By identifying and resolving component problems and testing complex communications networks, you ensure that validated subsystems are turned over to the Controls Engineering group with precision and care.
