About the Role

As an Electrical Engineer based in Dallas or Houston, TX, you will join a practice filled with professionals pioneering Energy Conservation and Zero Carbon initiatives. This role is designed for an experienced engineer ready to expand their knowledge base through field experience and travel. You will contribute directly to decarbonization and electrification efforts, focusing on renewable energy projects for high-performance buildings while engaging in focused growth opportunities within AECOM's Sustainable Legacy.

In this position, you will tackle complex challenges across projects of all sizes. Your day-to-day involves supporting electrical engineering from conceptual design through construction administration and post-occupancy. You will collaborate with managers and colleagues to achieve the company's mission, coordinating design and schedules with architectural, structural, mechanical, and other disciplines. The role offers the chance to mentor junior staff and exercise judgment on engineering alternatives while working under supervision to meet agreed-upon budgets and schedules.
