The Electrical Engineer serves as a key technical resource within the Arrowhead division, focusing on the engineering, design, and troubleshooting of the electrical systems for Bulk Palletizers, Depalletizers, and associated conveyor systems. This role exists to ensure that all design criteria align with organizational objectives regarding quality, cost, manufacturing efficiency, service, and schedule adherence.
In this position, you will produce error-free, cost-effective drawings and documents, including electrical assemblies and bills of materials. You will work closely with project engineers on design and detailing portions of projects while generating detailed Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) as required. The role involves managing timelines for assignments and providing the Electrical Engineering Manager with weekly status updates. While routine duties are performed with minimal supervision, the position requires the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and interpret instructions in various formats, including written, oral, diagram, and schedule forms.
This role is based in a well-lit, heated, and/or air-conditioned indoor office/production setting with adequate ventilation. The work involves moderate physical activity performing somewhat strenuous daily activities of a primarily production/technical nature. The environment includes moderate noise levels and may involve exposure to wet or humid conditions, work near moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and extreme temperatures. There is a potential risk of electrical shock, vibration, and exposure to work in high, precarious places.
