Electrical Assembly Technician

About the Role

The Operations Associate is a bargaining-represented position dedicated to the precision assembly of complex electronic and electro-mechanical systems. This role serves as a critical link in the manufacturing process, supporting the construction of electronic cabinets, cable harnesses, and console assemblies. Success in this position requires a blend of technical aptitude, manual dexterity, and a commitment to quality standards in a high-tech electronics environment.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

In this role, you will engage in hands-on assembly tasks including cable and harness fabrication, hand soldering, point-to-point wiring, and mechanical assembly. You will interpret electronic and mechanical diagrams to ensure assemblies meet strict specifications. The work involves inspecting components, troubleshooting wire issues, and maintaining detailed records using basic computer systems. The position requires the ability to work in environments with exposure to solder paste, flux, and fumes, as well as the physical capacity to sit and stand for extended periods.

Hiring Process & Security Requirements
