About the Role
The Operations Associate is a bargaining-represented position dedicated to the precision assembly of complex electronic and electro-mechanical systems. This role serves as a critical support function for the assembly of electronic cabinets, cable harnesses, and consoles. The position requires a blend of technical aptitude and manual dexterity to execute tasks such as point-to-point wiring, hand soldering, and mechanical assembly while adhering to strict quality standards.
Work Environment & Requirements
This role involves working in a manufacturing environment where candidates must be prepared for exposure to solder paste, flux, and fumes. The nature of the work requires the ability to sit and stand for extended periods while maintaining high levels of focus and precision. A fundamental requirement for this position is the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance, which is typically restricted to U.S. citizens. Successful candidates will undergo government security investigations and must meet all eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
