About the Role
This position serves as a strategic partner in the development and execution of global Environment Health and Safety (EHS) training programs. The role exists to ensure that safety and environmental education initiatives are not only compliant with current standards and regulations but also effectively drive employee skills, productivity, and performance across the organization. You will act as a bridge between EHS requirements and Learning & Careers (L&C) capabilities, collaborating with HR, Sourcing, and various stakeholders to align training content with organizational priorities. The day-to-day involves managing the lifecycle of these programs—from identifying needs and partnering with subject matter experts to creating content, monitoring engagement via data tools, and providing actionable insights to improve safety outcomes.
Where You'll Be Working
This is a hybrid role with a defined work location. You will have the flexibility to work from home while maintaining a minimum of three days per week in the office, with the specific office location set by your manager. Employees are responsible for maintaining compliance with Verizon's hybrid work policies.
