The Editorial Rotational Program is designed to accelerate the professional growth of early-career editorial professionals. Through exposure to a multitude of assignments, apprenticeship-style learning, and accelerated responsibility, we aim to cultivate driven, tenacious, and pragmatic team members who have the potential to rise into significant contributors within our Editorial team and broader direct-to-consumer lifestyle business.
As a full-time Editorial Assistant in this program, you will explore multiple areas of the business, including Industry Relations, Licensing, Contracts & Operations, Book Selections, Member Experience Initiatives, and Allurial, our Romantasy business. This role is built for those who approach work with a commitment to high-quality output, a sense of urgency, sound judgment, and a genuine desire to learn. You will receive feedback well and incorporate it to improve continuously.
After approximately two years, successful team members will have the opportunity to transition into a more specialized role based on business needs, individual performance, and the interests demonstrated throughout the program.
We value a strong work ethic and the ability to learn quickly. We look for individuals who can take on new challenges, manage their time effectively, and prioritize projects to keep them on track. Our team thrives on excellent communication and interpersonal skills, requiring the ability to interface comfortably with people at all levels. We also seek those with great judgment who can handle sensitive information with discretion and care. A fast, avid reading habit and a deep knowledge of contemporary commercial fiction are essential to our shared passion for books.
