Key Responsibilities
- check_circleSet-up and operate electro-chemical machines to cut metal work pieces to specifications
- check_circleDress electrodes according to standard practices and identify unusable conditions
- check_circleInspect work pieces visually and with measuring instruments for conformance to specifications
- check_circleExamine operation sheets to plan machine operations for ECM processes
- check_circleUse electronic systems to update part status and record quality information
- check_circleMaintain production and quality standards while reporting unusual problems to management
- check_circlePosition and secure work pieces on machine tables using clamps, vices, or fixtures
- check_circleAdjust acid flow valves and monitor machine operations during production
Requirements
- verifiedHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent
- verifiedMinimum of one-year experience in industrial manufacturing as a machine operator
- verifiedAbility to work 3rd shift (10pm-6am)
- verifiedAbility to work overtime including occasional weekend shifts
