We are seeking a skilled Echocardiographer to join our team in a pivotal capacity. In this role, you will operate advanced ultrasound equipment to produce detailed images of patients' hearts and heart vessels. Your work will directly contribute to the overall assessment and healthcare planning for our patients, ensuring they receive the most accurate diagnostic support possible.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve performing comprehensive echocardiographic examinations, including 2D, 3D, Doppler, and transesophageal studies. You will analyze these images to provide preliminary diagnostic evaluations and document procedural logs while maintaining the necessary equipment. A key part of your role is communicating your findings clearly to attending physicians to aid in patient diagnosis and management, all while ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout every procedure.
To succeed in this position, candidates must be registered with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS), ideally holding the RDCS credential, and possess a Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification. We value individuals with strong analytical and diagnostic skills, proficiency in operating echocardiographic equipment, and excellent interpersonal and communication abilities. Additionally, the role requires the physical capacity to handle patient positioning and a steadfast commitment to adhering to safety and quality protocols.
