Join our team at the new Grand Rapids Central Station Early Childhood Center, located within The Rapid Central Station. We are creating an environment to meet families where they live, prioritizing accessible, affordable early care and education for children alongside wraparound services for whole families and the broader community. This unique center sits at the intersection of transportation and childcare needs.
Classrooms are scheduled to open in Fall 2026, with opportunities for employment beginning as early as this summer. The Lead Teacher role is vital to the planning, development, and implementation of Wobbler classroom activities. This position requires face-to-face leadership and may involve early morning responsibilities. Full-time, Monday through Friday availability is required. Openings are available for infant through early preschool classrooms.

Requirements
- verifiedDegree in Early Childhood Education or CDA required
- verifiedBachelor's Degree (BA) preferred

- verifiedCPR Certification required within 60 days
- verifiedFirst Aid Certification required within 60 days
- verifiedState of Michigan criminal background clearance (ICHAT)

- verifiedWorking knowledge of computers and experience with software applications
