About the Role
The Early Head Start Teacher serves as a vital support to the Lead Teacher, dedicated to fostering the physical, emotional, nutritional, social, and intellectual growth of infants and toddlers. Working within a safe, healthy, and learning-conducive environment, this role ensures every child receives the care and attention they need to thrive.
As a key member of the classroom team, you will be the first and last point of contact for parents each day, building positive relationships and facilitating clear communication between families and the center. Your day involves collaborating with staff to implement curriculum standards, developing activities tailored to individual needs, and maintaining a secure environment where children can explore and learn.
