About the Role
We are seeking a hands-on Dynamics 365 Business Central Techno-Functional Consultant to support and enhance a growing ERP environment. This role exists to bridge the gap between complex business needs and technical execution, ensuring the system evolves alongside operational demands.
In this hybrid position based in Milwaukee, WI, you will partner closely with business and IT stakeholders to optimize system performance and drive continuous improvements. Your day-to-day involves translating business requirements into functional and technical design documentation, configuring core modules like finance and inventory, and developing AL extensions to customize the platform. You will also lead efforts in data migration, testing, and user training, while supporting analytics strategies through Power BI.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circlePartner with stakeholders to gather requirements and assess current-state ERP processes
- check_circlePerform fit/gap analysis and recommend system enhancements
- check_circleConfigure Business Central across finance, inventory, purchasing, and order management
- check_circleTranslate business needs into functional and technical design documentation
- check_circleDevelop and maintain AL extensions, customizations, reports, and integrations
- check_circleSupport integrations including APIs, EDI, web services, and cloud platforms
- check_circleAssist with data migration, testing, UAT, deployments, and upgrades
- check_circleTroubleshoot system issues and optimize performance
- check_circleCreate documentation and deliver end-user training
- check_circleSupport Power BI reporting, analytics strategy, and data insights
Requirements
- verified3+ years of experience with Dynamics 365 Business Central and/or NAV
- verifiedExperience with AL development, integrations, and data migration
- verifiedLegally authorized to work in the United States
Nice to Have
Microsoft Dynamics certification. Experience with Power Platform, Azure services, or EDI. Background in manufacturing, distribution, or consulting environments.
