About the Role
The Assistant Manager is a key part of our operations leadership team, assisting the General Manager in the day-to-day operations of a facility. This is a fast-paced, customer-facing role where you will be truly empowered to act like an owner of your facility on a day-to-day basis. You will oversee the facility and fleet, manage staff, and ensure operational standards are met.
This position serves as a significant stepping-stone into our management team. Our Assistant Manager roles offer substantial growth opportunities, with over 70% of Assistant Managers promoted into General Manager roles. Key Responsibilities

- check_circleHandle customer service issues that arise during operations
- check_circleComply with all applicable Federal, State, and Local regulations for commercial vehicle operations
- check_circleComplete projects relating to operational improvements, maintenance, and shuttle repair
- check_circleEnforce company policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook
- check_circleRespond to staffing needs by contacting employees or personally covering shifts
Requirements
- verifiedBachelor's degree or relevant management experience
- verifiedAbility to work a varied and flexible schedule
- verifiedExcellent English communication (verbal / written) and interpersonal skills

- verifiedAbility to obtain applicable licenses or badges for commercial vehicle operation
