The Customer Support Specialist serves as a vital operational partner, assisting with the customer service components of API client requirements to achieve acceptable outcomes. This role involves close collaboration with internal departments and external parties to eliminate operational challenges involving clients, hotels, and transportation.
You will act as the primary point of contact for client requests, assessing requirements by priority to ensure hotel and transportation needs are met. The role requires building and maintaining strong business relationships through prompt and accurate service, while negotiating with vendors to best support both the client and API. When critical issues arise, you will alert the appropriate hierarchy for resolution and professionally resolve client disagreements by presenting facts to support solutions.
This position operates in a professional office environment using standard equipment such as computers, phones, and fax machines. The role requires flexibility to work morning, mid-day, evening, and overnight shifts, including weekends and overtime. Advanced notice is provided for schedule changes, and the ability to adapt to a varied schedule is essential.
