About the Opportunity
Take your career further with McLane! We are offering a fully paid CDL-A Driver Training Program for candidates in Northfield, MN. This role is designed for individuals ready to learn the essential functions of a professional driver, including the accurate and timely distribution of products to various customer locations. As a Driver Trainee, you will gain exposure to warehouse and other operational functions as part of your developmental process to become a certified McLane Driver.
Program Details
McLane is investing in your future by providing a fully paid CDL-A School right here in Northfield. This is your opportunity to start a rewarding career as a professional driver with excellent pay and benefits. The training program runs Monday through Thursday, on-site in Northfield, MN, and lasts for four weeks. To participate, candidates must obtain a CDL-A Permit prior to the class start date.
What to Expect
During the training phase, you will earn $23.50 per hour. Upon completion and as a driver, you can expect average first-year earnings between $80,000 and $90,000, with a minimum guarantee of $65,000 per year. Benefits are available from Day 1, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, FSA/HSA options, and company-paid life insurance. Additional perks include a 401(k) Profit Sharing Plan after 90 days, paid holidays, vacation time, sick leave accrual, and an educational assistance program.
