Driver- Roll Off

About the Role

The Roll-Off Driver is the frontline of our waste removal operations, responsible for safely and efficiently serving customers across multiple business lines. In this role, you will collect waste from customer sites and transport it to post-collection facilities for proper disposal. Your work ensures that our communities remain clean while maintaining the highest standards of safety and customer service.

Day in the Life

Your day begins with thorough pre-trip safety inspections and documentation to ensure the truck and ancillary equipment are ready for the road. You will navigate various routes, operating the roll-off truck with precision to eliminate mechanical failures and adhere to all federal, state, and local safety regulations. Communication is key; you will interact professionally with customers and the general public, report any potential hazards or vehicle issues immediately, and maintain accurate records of services performed.

The role requires a professional demeanor at all times, including wearing required personal protective equipment such as gloves, reflective vests, and safety glasses. You will work outdoors in all weather conditions, often in loud environments, and may be required to work overtime or travel away from the branch location throughout the day.
