The Roll-Off Driver is the frontline of our waste removal services, responsible for safely and efficiently collecting waste from customer sites across multiple business lines. This role exists to ensure proper disposal of materials while maintaining high standards of customer service and operational safety. You will operate roll-off trucks and ancillary equipment, transporting waste to post-collection facilities and managing the logistical flow of our routes.
Your day begins with thorough pre-trip safety inspections and documentation to ensure the vehicle is road-ready. Throughout the day, you will navigate various customer locations, operating the truck and equipment using prescribed techniques to prevent mechanical failures. You will communicate regularly with supervisors regarding vehicle status, potential hazards, and route efficiencies. The role requires a professional demeanor at all times, whether interacting with customers, the general public, or team members. You will also maintain accurate records of services performed and ensure the vehicle remains clean and compliant with all federal, state, and local safety regulations.
